MediHeal Mask : LINE friends edition & more

Mask time again! Still trying to keep my "One Mask a Week" routine going on. So far so good. haha

I got introduced to these masks from MediHeal. MediHeal actually is short term for Medical Healing, and MediHeal masks focuses on the different skin types with different needs.

Aren't their packaging so cute though?! The LINE Friends ones I mean. The other 2 looks very clinc-ish, like some very professional doctor's prescribed masks like that. Except with 2 famous celebrities on the cover, which is Fei from Miss A, and Hyun Bin, the very famous and handsome actor!!

I tried out the Cony mask first!

I inserted the name price and function of the mask in the pictures so you guys can see :D

Look at how the mask looks like!! How cuteee!! There's a mini Cony on the mask sheet!

And it's on my cheek when I put the mask on! haha this is too adorable! Which means the other LINE character masks will have characters on the masks that is displayed on the packaging as well!

Another one I tried is this charcoal one that is endorsed by Fei.

The whole thing is totally black and very glossy and shiny!

VERDICT:

After using the masks, the thing that I really like is how cooling they are. Even though I only kept them in room temperature conditions only but they are really cold when you put them on your face! There is a lot of essence in the packaging though, so I took the extra essence and applied them on my neck, as usual. Didn't feel much difference after, probably needs constant usage of the masks for the full effects to take place. My skin did feel really cool afterwards, which is very nice. The mask amazingly stayed cool for the whole 15-20 minutes on my face.

Below are the other masks that I was given:

If you are interested to try these MediHeal masks, you can get them from the Maystar website. You can use the code "mandy" at the checkout for 20% off :D Great deal hor. Dyeing my hair for the first time - Balayage highlights @ Number76 Mid Valley

Dyeing my hair has never been something I wanted to do since I was born with brown hair and I really like my original hair colour. But when Number76 contacted me, I thought about it for monthsss before taking the plunge. 有些事现在不做,以后可能就没有机会了right?

Originally I only wanted highlights, because I didn't want to dye my whole head (of hair) and only wanted to test the waters since it's my first time. But then Terry introduced me to the Balayage highlighting technique.

It was highlights but a more unique way instead. I trusted him and went ahead with it! Initially I wanted pink, but bleach is required for that, so I went for red violet instead :)

  1. Dyeing hair in progress. Terry said this effect is like painting on hair. haha
  2. Waiting for the colour to set. Not gonna lie, the chemicals were quite stinging to my eyes, but it was bearable.
  3. After washing, I did their new add-on Revolutionary Micro Mist Treatment
  4. Look at all the mist! It's really cooling by the way, and made my hair very smooth!

Tadaaa! The end results! It turned out more red wine colour because my hair was light to begin with. I really really like it! Look at that ombre effect! This colour is not that obvious with normal indoor lighting, but when outdoors.....

It looks like this! Very red and bright!

This is how my hair looks like right now after a week and 5 washes later.

The colour has faded off a bit. This was taken during evening time when the sun was setting. Below were pictures taken in the morning :D

As you can tell, it's more purplish now than red, which I love even more! Purple is my favourite colour! haha. According to Terry, this colour will last about 2 weeks, and will fade into some copper-ish colour. Fingers crossed for a nice fade out colour! haha.

How I take care of my dyed hair / Tips :

  1. Use coloured shampoo. I'm using Bothea's Botanic Therapy colour shampoo, which my mum got it awhile ago.
  2. Since the ends of my hair is pretty dry due to perming and dyeing, I got this Olive Hair Serum by Naturals from Watson. Haven't start to use yet, but hope it's good!
  3. Use dark coloured towels because the colour is gonna come off during washes. For mine, the water was all pink, even till now (it has been 1 week)
  4. Don't wear light coloured clothing / Lie on your bed when your hair is wet. If not, it'll stain.

Overall I am very satisfied with how everything turned out. Huge thanks to Number76, especially Terry for making this magic happen! Number76 is actually having A LOT of promotions going on this month, do follow their Instagram to check out all the promotions!

Mask time with C20 Natural Vitamin 21.5 Enhancing Sheet Mask {Review}

So I have recently set a strict weekly skin routine for myself to improve my skin conditions and 1 of the steps is to use 1 or 2 masks weekly.

I have been using this mask from C20 recently, and it's their Natural Vitamin 21.5 Enhancing Sheet Mask. It is antioxidant and has 21.5% natural vitamin complex. It is also made in Korea! Immediately + points right when a beauty product is made from Korea? haha.

BENEFITS:
  • Improves skin tone
  • Calming
  • Moisturizing

As seen, it is quite translucent when placed on the skin. I put it for 15-20 mins before taking it off and applied any extra essence from the mask on my neck. Was kinda expecting it to have a Vitamin C Orange-y smell but it doesn't! haha. Which is a good thing la. Usually fragrant beauty products have some extra forms of chemicals.

Since I usually put masks on at night, after using this my skin feels quite smooth the next day. If you're interested, you can get this mask from Natta Cosme here. Price: RM9.90 per piece.

Thanks for reading and off you go to pamper yourself with a mask sheet! :D
