Ice Town Melaka

source

So I went to Ice Town the other day. The interior of this shop is quite long but it is very narrow. When I went there yesterday, it was seriously crowded and because everyone was packed together, it was really nosiy as well. Not a really ideal place if you intend to have a relaxing time.

Banana Chocolate

Although I love the concept of ice shavings but so far I have tried various ice shavings from different dessert shops and the taste somehow never seemed enough for me.

These 2 ice shavings I tried was kinda okay, but if their taste were more concentrated and stronger, it would have been so much better.

 Creamy Sauce Sotong with Rice
Rate: 8.8/10

Now this dish was really good. The sauce was savoury but it was quite spicy because they added a lot of cili padi into the sauce, so I had to slowly pick out all of them before I eat. lol.

Now for my outfit of the day:

Aztec cropped top and denim high waisted shorts from Honey Moon  l  High top yellow sneaker wedges from Summer

Going to be quite busy the next few weeks due to exams and assignments. Hopefully I'll manage to get them all done before the Raya holidays.

Hope you all are having a great weekend :)

Finishing this climb ft. STPM Sem 2 results

'Climb' top from Honeymoon   l   Green jeggings from Ku Zi   l   Teal pumps from Carlo Rino   l   Lapalette inspired bag from Platinum Mall (Thailand)

So I just got my STPM Semester 2 results on Monday. I waited up till midnight to check my results and I actually used the SMS system to check, but I'll just show the online version of it.

Overall CGPA: 3.67

Words cannot describe how shocked I was. I honestly thought it was gonna be way worse than my Sem 1 results. After recovering from the shock, and also double checking the results to be certain it is mine, I was like...

Really thank God for pulling me through sem 2. I was so overloaded with work and responsibilities, not to mention that I spent the first 3 months of sem 2 worrying about my sem 1 results. So I'm really really grateful that I didn't do as bad as I thought I would. All glory goes to Him <3

Being in Form Six is such a tough climb. With all the bumpy and winding roads, with all the challenges and obstacles in the way. Sometimes I just feel like giving up because there's just too many things I have to cope with. But hey, We (referring to all the upper sixes out there) are already in Semester 3! We are going to finish this climb very soon. Stay strong and press on till we reach the top.

To those who got the results that they wanted or more than what they expected, congratulations! Be proud of yourselves :)

For those who didn't, don't ever give up. We didn't come this far to just throw in the towel. You only fail if you give up.

1 last time. We can do this. We are going to finish this climb together. :)

P.S: To all the lower sixes, all the best to you guys as well! xx.

Mix and Match #2: Stripes

Thank God It's Friday. #TGIF

Finally manage to post my second 'Mix and Match'. This time, I focused more on accessories and outerwear.

Made in Korea black netting outerwear and Striped pants from Honeymoon (DP)  l Black Spaghetti strap (forgotten where I got this)  l  Black heels from Barry (Aeon)  l  Camera earrings from Vintage Style (DP)

I think of all the outfit posts that I have done, this is by far my most favourite outfit yet.

Deeply in love with the outer netting because it really spices up the whole look and making it look more K-Pop-ish.

Striped pants/leggings/jeggings have been in trend for awhile now, and I thought I'll just jump on the bandwagon anyway, since this pair is so comfortable and has a very nice cutting.

First look : Hip Hop Girl

'Faith' cap from Singapore

Wearing a cap changes a lot about the outfit. Makes it more casual, yet adding a little bit of hip hop style into the look.

Second Look: Biker Chic

Faux leather biker jacket from Mico Fashion Square

Putting on a faux leather biker jacket will basically bring out the rocker chic in anyone (except guys of course). This will be perfect if you're going somewhere that has air conditioning or a more formal event.

Third Look: Rocker Gal

Black vest from Singapore

I guess this look gives out a similar vibe as the biker jacket. This is also suitable for formal events except that you most probably won't be drenched in sweat since it's sleeveless and quite airy.

That is all for this post of mine. I hope you all like the different looks that I (tried to) compile.  Had lots of fun during the process of this shoot. A round of applause for my photographer - my mum. <3

And this photo pretty much sums up what goes on Behind The Scenes. lol. The wind was crazy that day. Thanks to that, I didn't sweat much and I had many shots of my hair dancing in the wind *dramatic much*. Of course I also had a ton of photos when my hair was in my face -.- haha. I initially wanted to do a shoot for another outfit, that's why I was lugging around all those bags, but in the end we didn't have enough time. Oh well. Minions were calling. So we had to go and watch their show. Hehe. Despicable Me 2 is hilarious and awesome!

By the way, I heard that Google Reader has officially shut down. I don't know why mine still works, but just in case, you all can still follow my blog through Bloglovin or Imotiv.

Also, I really appreciate all the comments/advices that you all have been giving. Feel free to voice out your opinions on the Imotiv conversation box below. Busy July

Hi guise! I didn't touch it. Really.

Haha.

Anyways! July is here people. Second half of the year has just begun. I have been so packed with school activities, assignments and tests recently that I don't really have the time to do anything else that is non-school related. Glad that I'm done with most of them already. I finally can have a mini breather. *inhales*

White button down and black skater skirt from Honeymoon  l  Translucent heels from Vincci  l  Translucent backpack from Vintage Style

I have a love-hate relationship with button downs. The thing I love about them is that you can easily match it with anything and it'll look good and trendy. The thing I hate is that you always have to use a safety pin to pin in some places so that there isn't a 'hole' for people to 'see through' between the buttons.

Loving the details of this white button down that I got from Honeymoon. The logo on the front and the gold collar tips gives it an edgy look while the tutu princess-y sleeves make it a little more girly.

I know it looks like I'm sitting on it, but I'm actually sitting on a stool.

Oh yeah. One thing I realised recently is I've became chubbier, especially around my face *cries* Or maybe I've always been this chubby except I didn't know it *double cry* But I know that I have been eating so much that it's hard to control myself sometimes. *guilty face*

I need to force myself to exercise, so I went swimming the other day. Haven't swam in a while and I just HAD to choose a cold and rainy day to swim in. =__=  Ended up not lasting for more than 30 minutes because the water was just too cold. #majorfail

But hey, at least it's a start!......right?

Hope all of you will have a great second half of the year!
