School is a daily routine for us
In the morning, we’re sure to make a fuss
Even when the sun is still not up,
Here we are, awake at 6am sharp

We feel that school is such a bore
We feel that school is such a chore
Parents say, “School’s great! Now, go!”
We say, “Well, what do you know?”

Late a minute and we have to run
Eyes half open, shoelaces undone
We reach school and we see our friends,
Immediately, the torture ends

We have a chat and go with the flow
Then the bell rings, it is time to go
We may at times find school stressful
To have some fun, we have to bend some rules

Talk back to teachers, and detention we serve
No doubt, it is sometimes what we deserve
Sometimes they are as cold as ice
And other times they’re actually really nice

They teach us and give us a helping hand
They’re forever ready to listen and be a friend
They have built much confidence in us
Just not when they are being really harsh

Over the years of education,
Never have we had so much learning with action
Such as camps, experiments, concerts and activities
We've learnt so much and even saved the trees

A wise teacher once said aloud -
Success is failure turned inside out
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit

Some may see school as a torture chamber
Some cannot wait for the holidays in December
But it depends on how we look at school
Honestly, positively, school is cool!

Brief recap:

Went up to Shah Alam last Saturday for my cousin's wedding! We had a pre-wedding dinner first, and this is what I wore :)

Denim leopard printed shirt - Honey Moon
Black spaghetti strap dress/top - Adore
Peep toe heels - Barry
Shades - Vincci

Then I also had my hair braided by the hair saloon just outside my house. First time doing this kind of braid,  when I took it out later that hair 'exploded'. Lols.

Finally got to meet up most of my family members especially my cousins whom I didn't had the chance to meet during the holidays! Miss them loads <3

Then on Sunday morning, we went through all the traditional Chinese wedding process like 'pick up the bride' and 'tea ceremony'. Of course, we took a picture with the lovely bride :)

So pweetyyy!

After all that, some of us went to One Utama to shop! I BOUGHT SOMETHING FURRY! Which I will take a picture and post it up another time, because I forgotten to take a picture of it and I'm sort of lazy now.hehe

Wedding dinner night!

Let's all take a moment to admire these beautiful purple flowers on the wedding cake.

They were practically the first thing I saw when I entered the dining hall, and I couldn't take my eyes (and the camera) off them. Proves my undying love for the colour purple.

One more picture with the bride! My dress was from E-collection :)

To sum things up, it was a really nice wedding altogether. Lovely atmosphere, lovely night, lovely people. Congratulations to my dear cousin and welcome my cousin-brother-in-law to our family!

Skin Logic Photo shoot

Last Sunday, I went over to Skin Logic at Melaka Raya to have my first ever photo shoot experience. I was erm...modelling for them? Idk if you can call it modelling since I have absolute zero experience for modelling and I am definitely not a model, so let's just say that I took some photos so that they can use them for their advertisements and such.

Went there at 10.30am and the make up artist got started on my make up.

In case you don't know, those two blue things on my hair are what they used to keep my fringe away from my face, idk what it's called though.

When I saw the fake eyelashes she was gonna put on me, I honestly thought it was too thick and I was kinda afraid it'll be way too fake, but you always have to trust the pros. Haha.

Didn't turn out too bad. (I think. lol) Forgotten to take a before and after look, but seriously the difference is just....too much. I need to learn how to make up after this schooling year now that I have seen its true magic. lol

They didn't do much with my hair, just curled it more. See my eyes? Suddenly look so awake now with all that make up on. AND SHE DID IT WITHIN 10 MINUTES. What kind of sorcery was that?! If I were to draw my eyes like that...I probably would've took about 10 hours.

I changed into 3 outfits in total. The first was the outfit I liked the most, which was my pink maxi dress from E-collection. Forgotten to take a photo of that, so here's an old picture just to let you see what the dress is like.

and then I also wore my other favourite outfit. I'm not too sure what kind of advertisement they're gonna use with this series of photos of this outfit..

Kitty ears hat - Gold Apple
Black spaghetti top - Adore
Red jeggings - Honey Moon

Was trying my best to follow the photographers instructions. Hope it didn't turn out too bad =/

And the last outfit was a student type of look. Also for their advertisement.

Skull singlet with lace at the back - Mico Fashion House
(you can't see it, but...) Denim shorts - Mico Fashion House

I haven't tied up my hair like this since...standard 3? Which was 10 years ago.... ._.

All in all, it was a nice experience, really thankful to have an opportunity like that. Just hoping they weren't too disappointed with my performance, because I was just...really awkward and stiff most of the time ._.

Now, to end this post with one of the photos that they took of me.

We are not Lab Rats

First week back in school. I thought there won't be any more changes after Semester One, but SURPRISE! Many more changes were made.

# Class name changed
As of now, all of the classes are named as so : PU/*insert year here*/*insert class name here*. For example, my class is now PU/13/A4 instead of Upper Six Arts Four. Sounds like some secret code or something to me at first, but after they explained what it stand for, it made sense. sort of. PU: Pra-Universiti. So yes, we are now officially pre-U students. Therefore, my class's name is now Pra Universiti/13/Arts Four.

#Corporate wear
Since we are now all 'Pre-U' students, we have to wear corporate wear every Monday. But everyone will be wearing the same shirt.

It is known earlier that we have to do projects for our Semester system, and we have class periods specially for doing our projects. The thing is, these 'projects' are not called 'projects' anymore. They are called Kolokium (or something like that, I can't remember) instead. Still have no clue as to why they decided to change the name.

A lot of changes huh?

Anyways, I had a pretty hectic week even though it was just 3 days. Busy at the koperasi cause its 'book-buying' season. Lol. Then I was busy with the Student Council, taking care of the Form One students. They are all so small-sized that I can't imagine I was that small when I was their age.

I had to bring them around the school one day, and the funny thing is I probably only know 40% of the whole school. I only know where's the hall, quad, canteen, library and the koperasi. The rest are just...alien to me. Heck, I don't even know we had a Gallery Wawasan which is something like a mini museum that showcase my school's history. LOL. #fail.

Other than that, classes already started. Oh yes! Another change is we have to sit one by one now. Because the teachers think that we will be able to concentrate better and won't talk so much during lessons....... lol.

All in all, it wasn't too bad of a start. =) Fingers crossed for a good year as this will officially be my last schooling year!
